ABOUT

Mr. Schroder is an attorney at the Kajy Law Firm, PLLC. As a Plaintiff attorney he specializes in personal injury and motor vehicle accidents. He has single-handedly settled or tried cases to verdict and won millions of dollars for his clients. Mr. Schroder primarily practices in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County but has also practiced all over the state of Michigan in courts as far as Kent County. John has also successfully argued cases in front of the Michigan Court of Appeals and is licensed and has litigated numerous cases in Federal Court.

Mr. Schroder graduated with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Minor in History from the University of Michigan in 2008 and earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2011.  Mr. Schroder has also been licensed to practice in both Michigan and Federal Courts since 2011.

Prior to joining Kajy Law, Mr. Schroder worked in both pre-litigation and litigation in multiple areas of law and previously as an in-house General Counsel for one of the largest case management companies in Michigan.  As a result, although Mr. Schroder has extensive experience in personal injury, Mr. Schroder has also practiced in areas including criminal defense, family law, employment law, contract law, and business law.

Mr. Schroder has been recognized by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the 10 best Attorneys in Michigan for Outstanding Client Service in 2018 and 2019, was also recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 40 Attorney in 2019, was named as one of the Attorney and Practice Magazine’s Top 10 Attorneys in Michigan in 2018 and has been a repeat guest speaker on several radio programs for personal injury legal discussions including on CINA 102.3 FM CINA Radio.

In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, especially his young daughter and also enjoys playing tennis, table tennis, and board games.
